By using non traditional tools, the ink can flow in an fluid, organic way.

To draw out this piece I used a hand cut wooden stick, dipped in black indian ink. I drew quick, natural lines letting the ink flow to give an organic feel. To scrape acrylic onto the paper, wedges of cardboard were used (pictured below) as this gave a more textured look. The piece was built up in layers of ink and paint to give a patchy effect. To create this piece took a lot of patience and risk taking, read about it in a blog post.
